Van Cao, MBA, is Chief Operations Officer for the HSFC where she is responsible for the organization's key frontline functions at both a strategic and operational level. Her experience with national food service management companies and food service operations in both private and commercial sectors has proven invaluable to HSFC client operations. Prior to joining the Healthy School Food Collaborative Van managed cafeteria operations for Sodexo Campus Divisions at the University of San Francisco and at Tulane University. She also managed school food operations for 42 Louisiana charter schools located in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Van received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of San Francisco and an MBA from Tulane University's AB Freeman School of Business. Residing in New Orleans with her husband and children, in her spare time Van enjoys the food and culture for which New Orleans is famous.
